During the 2009 Leonid meteor shower, you may see anywhere from 30 to 300 shooting stars an hour, depending on whether you're in the right place to see Tuesday's showy peak before dawn, experts predict.

Its Leonid Meteor Shower over the sky on many Asian countries now but sadly, until now I can't see at least one. :( I have one wish pa naman, sayang.

Anyway last celebration of Flor's birthday was FUN! FUN! FUN! I enjoyed that night swimming although my colds keep getting me harder to breath lol.

I accidentally visited the news site looking for Pacquiao - Cotto update lol. Since COMELEC rejected Ang Ladlad petition for running as a Party List this coming 2010 National Election for representing Filipino LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transexual) Community for the second time. In fact COMELEC reason to denied And Ladlad petition because of Immorality.

MANILA, Philippines - The Commission on Elections (Comelec) yesterday rejected the petition of Ang Ladlad Party, which represents homosexuals, bisexuals, and transgender individuals, to be registered as a sectoral party because of “immorality.”

In an eight-page resolution, Comelec Second Division presiding commissioner Nicodemo Ferrer and commissioners Lucenito Tagle and Elias Yusoph said Ang Ladlad’s petition is “dismissible on moral grounds.”

“(The) Petitioner defines Filipino lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community (as) marginalized and under-represented sector that is particularly disadvantaged because of their sexual orientation and gender identity… and proceeded to define sexual orientation as that which refers to a person’s capacity for profound emotional, affectional and sexual attraction to, and intimate and sexual relations with, individuals of a different gender, of the same gender or more than one gender,” the resolution said.

The commission said the definition of the represented sector “makes it crystal clear that (the) petitioner tolerates immorality which offends religious beliefs.”

The commissioners cited passages from the Bible – Romans 1:26-27 – and the Koran to illustrate their point.

Romans 1:26-27 reads: “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.”

Comelec said the party’s petition also “collides” with Article 694 of the Civil Code which defines nuisance as “any act… that disregards decency or immorality” and Article 1306 which provides that “contracts whose cause object or purpose is contrary to law, morals, good customs, public order or public policy are inexistent and void from the beginning.”

The commission said the petition for registration does not conform to the Catholic faith.

“Should this Commission grant the petition, we will be exposing our youth to an environment that does not conform to the teachings of our faith. We are not condemning the LGBT but we cannot compromise the well-being of the greater number of our people, especially the youth,” the resolution said.

Ladlad president Danton Remoto condemned the decision “of the very old men” who showed “painfully obsolete ideas about homosexuality.”

On my part I was a little shocked, proud and happy that my little voice will be heard by the whole world with the help of two sites that I've mentioned. Actually I have a lot of gay friends and one lesbian cousin. When I read about what COMELEC did and said something hot words about LGBT, aba! syempre di ko naiwasan magalit at manginig ang laman. They DISCRIMINATING every FILIPINO LGTB. Yeah I'm proud for being Bisexual and only 18 at age but hey I am totally aware about what's happening in our society.

May God Bless my beloved homeland, the Philippines this coming years.

Det, Ayva, Flor, Eric and Alvin arrived here in the house just to tell me that we're going to celebrate Flor's special day at Bosay Resort. Yay! A night swimming and a good location to do the whole celebration. Haha! Even though its so cold there at night because of many trees will be found at the resort, hey I'm going with them kahit may colds ako. :))

PORTLAND, Oregon (Reuters) – The United States' first marijuana cafe opened on Friday, posing an early test of the Obama administration's move to relax policing of medical use of the drug.

The Cannabis Cafe in Portland, Oregon, is the first to give certified medical marijuana users a place to get hold of the drug and smoke it -- as long as they are out of public view -- despite a federal ban.

"This club represents personal freedom, finally, for our members," said Madeline Martinez, Oregon's executive director of NORML, a group pushing for marijuana legalization.

"Our plans go beyond serving food and marijuana," said Martinez. "We hope to have classes, seminars, even a Cannabis Community College, based here to help people learn about growing and other uses for cannabis."

The cafe -- in a two-story building which formerly housed a speak-easy and adult erotic club Rumpspankers -- is technically a private club, but is open to any Oregon residents who are NORML members and hold an official medical marijuana card.

Members pay $25 per month to use the 100-person capacity cafe. They don't buy marijuana, but get it free over the counter from "budtenders". Open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., it serves food but has no liquor license.

There are about 21,000 patients registered to use marijuana for medical purposes in Oregon. Doctors have prescribed marijuana for a host of illnesses, including Alzheimer's, diabetes, multiple sclerosis and Tourette's syndrome.

On opening day, reporters invited to the cafe could smell, but were not allowed to see, people smoking marijuana.

"I still run a coffee shop and events venue, just like I did before we converted it to the Cannabis Cafe, but now it will be cannabis-themed," said Eric Solomon, the owner of the cafe, who is looking forward to holding marijuana-themed weddings, film festivals and dances in the second-floor ballroom.

NO PROSECUTION

The creation of the cafe comes almost a month after the Obama administration told federal attorneys not to prosecute patients who use marijuana for medical reasons or dispensaries in states which have legalized them.

About a dozen states, including Oregon, followed California's 1996 move to adopt medical marijuana laws, allowing the drug to be cultivated and sold for medical use. A similar number have pending legislation or ballot measures planned.

Pot cafes, known as "coffee shops", are popular in the Dutch city of Amsterdam, where possession of small amounts of marijuana is legal. Portland's Cannabis Cafe is the first of its kind to open in the United States, according to NORML.

Growing, possessing, distributing and smoking marijuana are still illegal under U.S. federal law, which makes no distinction between medical and recreational use.

Federal and local law enforcement agencies did not return phone calls from Reuters on Friday seeking comment on the Portland cafe's operations.

"To have a place that is this open about its activities, where people can come together and smoke -- I say that's pretty amazing." said Tim Pate, a longtime NORML member, at the cafe.

Some locals are hoping it might even be good for business.

"I know some neighbors are pretty negative about this place opening up," said David Bell, who works at a boutique that shares space with the cafe. "But I'm withholding judgment. There's no precedent for it. We don't know what to expect. But it would great if it brought some customers into our store."

Just made an account to another blog platform a few weeks ago. Tonight, I tried to hang out at the site and I found my self a man losing in a island lol. Aside from the fact that's my first time to use their service and been adopting its environment, maybe time will come and I'll able to adopt the said site either if ever I'll try it again. :D. Actually I decided to leave Blogspot but still it wins my heart.Yeah I admit the other blog platform that I'm talking about is much more way fun to use because of its uniqueness but Blogspot has its own attraction to me that I can't found to the first one that I've mentioned.

I considered this site as my new world; been posted here some of my so called personal sentiments since I'm a fully private person lmao. I'd created more blog accounts here and this blog, my latest one will become my last one blog. I'm promised. :)

Coffee Can Delay Severe Alzheimer's Disease.

Kompas.com "Consumption of coffee every day may help delay the development of Alzheimer's disease, according to results of a study on the issue of the Journal of Azheimer's Disease, online edition. Drinking coffee has been linked to previous mengecilnya risk of developing Alzheimer's.

Some researchers from the University of South Florida studied 55 mice that had been genetically engineered to be attacked by madness symptoms similar to Alzheimer's symptoms such as older animals.

Alzheimer's occurs when a lump of abnormal proteins that stick in the brain called the "beta-amyloid" piled up to form plaque, thus damaging kofnitif function.

Half the animals were given doses of caffeine every day in the drinking water, while the other half continued to drink plain water.



At the end of two months of the study, all the mice that drank caffeine showed results that are far better in memory and the ability berfikirnya than rats given plain water. Memory is as sharp as a rat animal healthy older without madness.

The study finds that caffeine cuts up to half of the excessive blood and the level of "beta amyloid" in the rat brain.

"The new findings provide evidence that caffeine can be 'therapy' is active for Alzheimer's disease, which was attacked, and not just as a protection strategy," said lead researcher, Gary Arendash, neuroscientists from the University of South Florida.

"That's important because caffeine is a drug that is safe for most people. The substance is easily enters the brain. And apparently directly affects the disease process," said Arendash as reported China's official news agency, Xinhua.

The researchers hope that caffeine can be a safe treatment and is not expensive for the memory loss disease and want to do experiments on human patients as soon as possible.

One study in 2002 found that people who consume caffeine in the middle ages they have a risk of 60 per cent less for developing the disease."

While in many countries, All Saints Day is a solemn holiday set aside to remember the dead, in the Philippines the holiday is a day of festivities. November 1 marks the beginning of the Filipino "Araw ng mga Patay," the celebration of the Day of the Dead. The celebration continues through the next day, All Souls Day. The two days are traditional Catholic holidays set aside to commemorate all the saints and the souls of the dead. While the holiday remains an important religious day for the Catholic Church, some of the more secular aspects are celebrated by the non-Catholic community. Though the people in the Philippines celebrate and honor the dead joyously, All Saints Day is still a respectful day for commemorating ancestors.

As usual, we got to drink and have laugh trip all the time. :D After we drunk our group decided to make some strolling around the city and guess what?! We've reach Boso-Boso! ROTFL! From downtown Antipolo when the group started the trip, going to Sumulong Highway - Masinag - Cogeo Gate 2 - Padilla - Boso-Boso.

While we're driving along Sumulong Highway, of course we don't miss to take a look at Metro Manila's Skyline at night. It fades out our "alcohol influence". Anyway Happy 18th birthday to my beloved cousin Det-Det! She have a part 2 of her 18th birthday celebration tomorrow night. Drink and laugh FTW again!

Facebook makes there users annoyed and confusing now with their "Live Feed" feature. At first I thought its a bug since "Live Feed" is only available at Facebook Lite. So yeah all of their users including me wants to boost out their freaking emotion to our beloved social-networking site in returning to its old format.

Saw a news on Yahoo! Home page and it makes me WOW! :O As in "Free flights for life?. To answer my big question inside my head I've immediately click the link and yeah... :)

KUALA LUMPUR (AFP) – A baby boy who made a surprise arrival on board an AirAsia flight this week will be given free flights for life with the budget carrier, as will his mother, the airline said Friday.

AirAsia said 31-year-old passenger Liew Siaw Hsia went into labour on Wednesday's flight from the northern island of Penang to Kuching on Borneo island.
The aircraft made an emergency diversion to the Malaysian capital but the baby arrived just before landing, delivered by a doctor who was on board and who was assisted by the airline's flight attendants.

"The baby was safely delivered when flight AK 6506 was approaching Kuala Lumpur for landing at 2,000 feet," the airline said in a statement, adding that mother and baby were taken to a nearby hospital following touchdown.

"To celebrate this momentous occasion, we decided to present both mother and child with free flights for life," said AirAsia's director of operations Moses Devanayagam after visiting them in hospital.

That status is came from one of my friends on Facebook who got my attention. (out of topic) Btw I don't know how to say this; I have a virtual friend from Talisay City, Cebu who've I got misunderstanding last night. Personally I don't like what he'd said though according to him its only a joke, a flop one. It got on my nerves after I read what he said to me. So okay I've forgive him already though I'll change the way I used to communicate with him just to avoid what like happened last night.

About this day, uhm nothing happened lol. Haha! I slept all the day and woke up this 8:00 PM. I want to do a lot of things now. Like what I've said I'm not contended in one box. :)) I want to watch movie, to lurk around in the Metro, go to province just to breath fresh air, want to ride horse or even at the carabao's back. (That's nice, right?) and aaaaaaaa lot mooore!

Well going to start my day in a bad mood for the second time. Like what I've said on my last post, I'm going to continue my story here anyway. Another guy think that I AM EASY TO GET TOO. WTF they don't even know the real "HAO" that existed here on Earth for atleast 18 years now! He said that I'm going to give the whole me after I got what I want on a man. Gah. I'm not CHEAP and DESPERATE to do that freaking stuff. So to his point: I look like a lil' trush to his eyes. They judge me easily with no preferences. Aw it gets me hurt on my part but IDC. I knew the whole me and every aspect of it! Btw I don't even know them too so go to hell guys. JK. Haha!

I don't want into relationship also. Sorry. That's final.

About to my online stalking activity, uhm I stopped it already, IDKW. Maybe in coming days I'll stalk them again. I need to focus for this coming months until January 2010 because having some plans to line up here and hoping that I can fulfill it.

Yeah I have nothing to say here lol. Its been 8 months now since I'm not into any relationship. There are times I felt so lonely and blue. I missed those times as being in love. I'm not dreaming and wanting for a perfect love story, all I can say is I need a man who knows what COMMUNICATION and TRUST is. That's the two major bummers that I've encountered during my past relationships. Now I want something new and lasted one. Aside from that I want both my man and I were going to benefit what we invest in our relationship so all the things gonna flow to its right way. I'm not after looks (How many times that I am going to tell that). Attitude and Loyalty are most important part to me. I don't care if you're rich, having a big and long disco stick, good looks and effing so ever - I'm looking for a guy who's gonna accept the whole me.

Aside from "Paparazzi" and "Just Dance" which I love from her, she support the Gay Community too. Yay! Personally I'm not a big fan of her nor to like most of her songs before because of its party tune dance.

At first I found her as a weird and "Gaga" type of lady lol but there's a lot of things behind that image. Now I really love her! She's a true-blue performer. She really love God and gays! I like her fashion sense also.





I'm more into Country music, David Archuleta is the only Pop icon that I am rooting for and now I included Lady of all Gaga. :) I think I should prepare my dance moves too when going to groove with her music - Pop Urban type. Like what I've said I'm not a party people but this time I'm looking forward with it. Haha!
